MIG Welding
ACE Fabrications main source of welding is mild steel MIG welding however we can also offer MIG welding in alumilium for those fast/ production style jobs or for those thick alumilium jobs. We also use gas-less MIG for those fast paced, thin grade, onsite jobs. We offer hard facing for wear plates using a combination of hard facing wire and granulated tungsten infusion.
TIG Welding
Most of the TIG welding at ACE fabrication is aluminium for toolboxes and canopies but we also deal in mild steel and stainless steel.
Stick Welding
ACE fabrication does a lot of stick welding for our on-site install or repair jobs. Our service truck is fully set up for any on-site stick welding jobs you may have.
Cutting
Our large Bandsaw is great for large steel profiles up to 250mm high and 400mm wide.
The slightly smaller, main bandsaw is usually used for cuttingmajority of our steel stock but we can still cut up to 250mm high and 300mm wide.
Our large hydraulic guillotine means we can cut up to 6mm thick and up to 4m long.
Rolling
Our small hand sheet metal rolleris great for those thin guage jobs up to 1200mm wide
Our large roller allows us to roll 1800mm sheets up to 5mm thick to a 400mm diamater. It can roll gradual curves in plate up to 12mm thick over short widths and even be used to roll slight curves in thin walled RHS.
The RHS/ pipe roller machine is great for rolling gentle curves in different sized pipe and RHS lengths.
Folding
Our small manual pan break is great for those small thin gauge jobs but if you want some serious folding its over to the press break. With a 4m bead, folding full sheets up to 3mmis no problem. We can also fold up to 5mm at 1.8m long and even up to 10 mm over short lengths.
Bending
Our pipe and RHS bending machine allow us to bend a variety of different sized pipe from 16mm up to 40mm, also RHS from 16x16mm up to 50x50mm.
Pressing
Our workshop presses are very handy for straightening things bent and twisted as we as disassembly of shafts and bearings. Our hydraulic powerpac, allows us to use a variety of hydraulic rams and jacks to help push things back to their original size and shape.
Machining and Turning
We have a range of machines to perform a variety of machining operations. Although we do not class ourselves as a machine shop, we have the knowledge and tooling to do a large range of jobs from new builds to repair work. Our machines include;
Main lathe with 1000mm bed, 410mm jaw and 55mm throat
Large lathe with a 1900mm bed, 550mm jaw and 65mm throat
Lathe tooling capable of internal boring as well as internal and external threading
Milling machine with a variety of cutters including end mills for cutting key ways in shafts
Threading maching to cut thread holes in plates with various sizes. Also capable of cutting key ways for sprockets and bosses.

Hydraulics
ACE Fabrication does a lot of work in hydraulics from repairing hydraulic cylinders and replacing seals to even straightening hydraulic cylinder shafts to help get you back on the job. Our new hydraulic cylinder nut cracker makes disassembling hydraulic cylinders easy and prevents damage. Even if you want to service and replace the seals yourself, we can help you disassemble your stubborn cylinders with ease.
We also offer hydraulic hose cutting and crimping through our partner business ATM Hydraulics.
Repairs
ACE Fabrication is no stranger to repair work and want nothing more than to get you back out on your job as quickly as we can. From small jobs like broken welds to complete overhauls of chaser bins or header fronts. There is no job too big or too small.
On-site
ACE Fabrications service truck is fully equipped with tools, generator, welder and oxy/ acetylene set up to tackle just about any on-site job that gets thrown at us. For those even bigger jobs, our new on-site service trailer gives us more power to run multiple welders and tools at once as well as an onboard hydraulic power pack for testing hydraulic systems and running our variety of hydraulic jacks and press tools.
Grit Blasting
Our brand new blasting booth is perfectly set up for blasting any job you require for painting. We blast all our jobs prior to painting to give it the best adhesion and longest life expectancy. We use environmentally friendly garnet and our new self sustained blasting unit allows us to reuse the reclaimed garnet multiple times. Evoke being properly disposed of at the end of its service life.
Painting
We paint all our ute trays, toolboxes, trailers and repair jobs in house in our 4.5m x 11m paint booth. With ample lighting, extraction fans and temperature control it’s the perfect environment to ensure a quality finish. If you are after a powder coated finish, we have regular deliveries to and from our powder coating specialists who have a large library of colours to choose from.
